Who we are

Kandid is a Switzerland-focused job-matching service for French candidates targeting Geneva, Vaud and the broader Swiss market. KandidBot is the user-agent we use when we visit public job-listing pages to extract canonical metadata (title, location, description) so we can compute matches for our registered users.

Crawling etiquette

  • We respect robots.txt Disallow rules.
  • Default crawl-delay between requests on the same host: 3–5 seconds.
  • We honour X-Robots-Tag, noindex and explicit opt-out headers.
  • We never bypass paywalls, CAPTCHAs or rate-limits.
  • We collect only the metadata strictly needed to display a public listing to a registered user (title, company, location, description excerpt, application URL).

Opt-out

If you operate a job board and want KandidBot to stop fetching your listings, please email [email protected] with your domain. We honour opt-outs within 24 hours.
